Wildland Firefighter Deaths In The USA

Wildland firefighting is a dangerous and arduous job. The demand of this job is incredible, being away from family, being around dangerous situations, and being able to handle that under immense physical and mental stress.

Many of our firefighters go out each and every year all over the country. Some firefighters from Oregon can end up in Colorado and some firefighters from Montana can end up in California. They will fight the fires where they are needed.

The saddest part is that sometimes they do not come back. If you would like to take a look at the statical analysis of these deaths you can read the linked article published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information.
